Okay, ladies (and the few gents) that are on here. What has been going on - everybody just been busy? Seems like nobody has posted anything in a while. I, for one, check in everyday it seems but I can't say I have accomplished any great sewing feats lately. Got some walls painted, does that count? Take care and lets hear from all of you.

Ideas for quilt for baby boy

Any ideas for websites featuring ideas for baby (boy) quilts? I'd prefer some that are not too "babyish".

Note: I recently purchased a Dr. Seuss fabric panel (the full-length Cat in the Hat graphic) & would like to use it as the focal piece.
Of course, since the shower is coming soon, I'd also prefer something that is not comprised of lots & lots of pieces. Many thanks.

Presser Feet Videos

Hi, All:

I used to have a link to a series of online videos that showed how to use the presser feet. Someone here posted it. I have searched the archives to no avail. I had to get a new PC, and I don't have the link in my Favorites any longer.

Does anyone have that link?

BTW, how's everyone doing? I haven't been here in a while.

Dumb mistake

I am not proud of this, but thought I would share so nobody else does the same thing.
I have been switching between quilting and doing applique on some kitchen towels. Without paying attention, I totally totally forgot to switch the foot from the open toe 9mm (I think) to the 1/4 inch quilting foot. I just looked for the red mark on the foot and went with that. Yes, the seam looked a bit on ...
