Remember When?

I loved reading all the remember when accounts. I too started sewing in the early 1960s. My mother taught me and we sewed on a White sewing machine. It was green. I took tailoring with my mother and learned the tailor tacks, bound button holes, finishing all the seams, under lining my garments with muslin and then with a full lining. Remember SiBonne lining? My favorite! I am back in Grad S...

What size area does the 2144 embroider?

Can anyone tell me the maximum hoop size that will fit the 2144 upgraded to 2170. I have the 7570 with a max size of 4 X 4, a Brother pe 770 with a max size of 5 X 7, and am considering purchasing a secondhand machine that will embroider a larger design without splitting or using the grand hoop.

What are your thoughts about bamboo batting. I had been pleased with the little I had used it and the lady who does machine quilt some of my quilts uses it and quite likes it.

However a speaker at our quilt guild made these comments. It is processed so much to get to the final state that it contributes a great deal to pollution and other environmental problems. She also mentioned that in...

OKAY - I know this should be in the Embroidery Forum

But I'm afraid that others may have the solution to my problem[:(]

I LOVE HTC's waffle weave tearaway stabilizer - it sticks to most fabric without adhesive and tears away beautifully.

Of course, I've run out of the mega yards I purchased. JoAnn's no longer carries it apparently (knowledgeable clerks - NOT). I've searched every web site and cannot identify it - I'm so bummed[:((]

I have a pfaff creative 1475 that is suffering from a few issues.
First, the display doesn't light up--I can't pick a stitch for it to use. The actual light bulb comes on when I hit the power button, but the screen stays completely blank.

Second, I can't get the needle and the bobbin to work together. I had it working last night, but while trying to put in a new needle I think I must have h...

Hi Pfaff Friends,

Let's get some conversation going.

What have you sewn lately or what do you plan to sew soon?

I have been making an embroidered story book for my grandson.
If I ever get it finished I will take some pictures.

I received a new lettering program for Christmas and I am trying to use it for the story in the book. It seems to be working pretty well, but I need to try to...

Hello!
Have you got any idea where can I get the Creative Designer accesory for my Pfaff 7530?
I come from Spain, and when I bought my Pfaff years ago it was not included although it was mentioned in the users guide. I've been looking for it for years and have'nt found anything. Do you know if there's a shop online where I can buy it?
Thanks

My Pfaff 1471 is on the blink and I don't know of any repair people in my area (Trinidad, CO). Something is wrong with the electric element. I can't start or stop the machine from running with the foot feed. I have to remove the plug from the machine to make it stop, and when it is running it runs way too fast. I love the machine and would like to replace it.
